For LuluLondon ↔ Jordan

A little evening, just for you

Our favourite kind
of evening.

A little something from me to you

Happy Birthday,
Lulu.

I wish I was there with you today. So I made you a little place where, for a moment, the distance doesn’t get a say.

Come in

A few little reminders

The things I see in you.

Little notes. All for you.

your heart

I love how much of your heart you give to the people around you.

the mum you are

I see it in the way you love your family, in the way you care for Esmee, and in the kind of mum you are.

the little things

I love your laugh.
Your loyalty.

our conversations

The way we can talk about everything and absolutely nothing, and somehow both feel equally important.

even this

And yes, I even love the way you fall asleep halfway through what we’re watching.

one last thing…

The snoring is growing on me.
Slowly.

Different cities. One very familiar routine.

It’s the ordinary nights I keep coming back to.

Lulu watching TV from her burgundy sofa in the warm room from our film.
London you
Me reclining on an olive sofa, watching TV in a warm room in Jordan.
Jordan me

Somehow, we’ve made something ordinary feel like ours.

For all the songs we’ve shared

The songs that sound like us.

Different songs, different moments. Every one of them brings me back to you.

Our songs will be here soon. Pick a few from our playlist and we’ll listen together.

The things we’ll keep

A few favourite memories.

All these little versions of you. I love every one.

Lulu with her lovely tousled hair, sending a little kiss.
That gorgeous morning hair.
My favourite kind of chaos.
Lulu sending a kiss to the camera.
All those kisses.
I’m saving up for the real ones.
A playful close-up of Lulu’s wide brown eyes.
Those beautifully crazy eyes.
They get me every time.
Lulu making a playful face with gold under-eye patches and a black nose patch.
Even your skincare face
has my whole heart.
Our video call: Lulu on the main screen and me in the little corner.
Our little video calls.
My favourite place to find you.

happy 38th birthday, my beautiful lulu 🤍

i wish i was there today.

not just to say happy birthday. i want to be there for the messy morning hair, the first kiss, the cake… and to annoy you in person for a change lol

but until i can, you’re getting this. a little piece of my heart, all for you.

you know what i love about us?

you in london, me in jordan. me lying on my sofa, you getting comfortable on yours. taking forever to pick something to watch, then somehow talking through half of it anyway.

and our very professional countdown…

3… 3… 1… go 😂

that extra 3 belongs to us. nobody needs to understand it.

i love those little things. our calls. the kisses you send through the screen. your beautiful crazy eyes when you’re being silly. your skincare face. your gorgeous hair doing whatever it wants.

all those little versions of you.

you don’t have to get ready or do anything special to make me want to look at you. even the most ordinary call can leave me smiling long after we’ve hung up.

and yes, i love you when you fall asleep halfway through what we’re watching.

the snoring is still under review.
but you’re very cute, so your case is looking strong.

there’s something else i want you to know today.

i see your heart.

the love you give your family. the way you care for esmee. the mum you are. your loyalty, your laugh, and the way we can talk about everything and absolutely nothing.

i hope you know how much i notice.
and how much i love you for it.

i wish i could pull you close today and let you put your head on my shoulder. no screen between us. no checking the time. just you, me, and probably another film we won’t finish.

until then, i’ll keep looking forward to your face appearing on my phone.

happy birthday, beautiful.

38 looks ridiculously good on you, by the way. it’s actually a bit unfair.

i hope today gives you plenty of reasons to smile.
and if you catch yourself smiling at your phone because of this…

good.
that was me kissing you from here 🤍

A little birthday treat

You deserve to be spoiled a little, too.

I wish I could do it myself. For now, there’s a £50 Treatwell treat waiting for you.

A little something, just for you

•••• •••• ••••

Your little surprise is still being wrapped. 🤍

One last little birthday wish

If I could be there.

For a minute, let’s pretend I am.
